    In just six weeks college students from all across the United States will convene in Washington, D.C. for the inaugural CSAmerica National Convention.

    Registration is open and a special early rate is being extended to those who register before the end of the year. Please act now and join us for an exciting weekend of debate, dialogue, networking, and fun in our nation’s capital.

    Register now to receive special discounted registration rates. Gather a group of friends or your CSAmerica chapter and register online today for an incredible weekend.

    CONVENTION SUMMARY

    Friday: Opening Session begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. Following Opening Session, a welcome reception will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. With the convention hotel located minutes from Georgetown and one block from the Metro, D.C. nightlife is easily accessible.

    Saturday: Convention sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. with keynote speaker author and journalist David Mark. Mr. Mark is a noted political journalist whose new book, Going Dirty: The Art of Negative Campaigning, has received mention in The Economist. Mr. Mark has also appeared on The Daily Show, CNN, and many other media outlets as a political commentator. Five blocks will follow featuring debates, discussions, and other activities. Convention programs end at 5:30 p.m.

    Sunday: Convention sessions resume at 10:30 a.m. with Block Six. Sunday consists of two blocks and the Closing Session. The convention and all activities will conclude by 1:00 p.m.

    A Call for Debate Topics

    This is your convention. Help shape agenda by suggesting debate and dialogue session ideas to Docket Director Edith Hannigan of Rutgers University. Edith is working hard to put together a docket that will interest everyone and is looking for your input.
